It’s Sunday, July 14 and we’re at the end of WEEK 2– 2 down, 18 to go!! Chris Mabie and I are racing together this year at Ironman Arizona on November 17, 2013. Chris is my dear friend from the Y who came to watch my last two ironmans. This year, the only watching she’ll be doing is watching for me to cross the finish line after she’s already done!!! : ) Go, Chris!!!!
I’m doing a little different training plan this year- one that Chris found. We decided that it if we follow the same plan, when we’re able to bike or run together, we’ll be doing the same workout. Pretty cool!
So for week one, we swam, biked, and ran 105 miles.
For week two ( a little bit of a rest week- ha, ha) we only trained for 99 miles.
So, we are now 204 miles into our long 20 week schedule- we’re out of Michigan and Indiana! Do you think we’ll make it all the way to Phoenix before the race? Or do you think we’ll go farther?
